When the Eagles won the Super Bowl in 2025, there was a huge parade afterward. Love and unity were themes, and so may turned out with so little negative activity that often accompanies mass gatherings. The Lord laid it on my heart that Christians should be able to gather like that. I believe that music can be a great unifier, and believed that an event at the Academy of Music bringing together Christians of all stripes would truly be worth pursuing. We have looked into other venues as well, hoping to have our event as part of the 250th birthday of America, but may go to early 2027 when venue opportunities are easier.
I contacted Cherelle Parker, the mayor of Philadelphia, and her appointee for Faith-based ministries is on board with us. We met with the Black Clergy of Philadelphia and Vicinity, and have met on numerous Zoom conferences with people from different segments of the Body of Christ who share my vision. We appointed Pastor Brad Lacey, President of the Philadelphia Bible Society and pastor of the First Baptist Church at Conshochocken as our Executive Director. Others include Evangelist Oguazi Onyemobi of Jesus Power Utreach Ministries, who was involved with Texas-based Time to Revive for a very large event in Chicago and who is an attorney who has advised senior leadership in Nigeria. Associate Pastor Lorenzo Biggs of Greater St. Matthew Independent Church, Deacon Eileen Prisco from Shalom Assembly of God, and others have been assisting us.
